Bradway de Roca, Maritime Benidorm Avenue by OAB Carlos Ferrater. Ascer Award.

The latest edition of Cevisama 2010, the International Show for Ceramics in Architecture and Bathroom and Kitchen Equipment, and the International Natural Stone and Machinery Fair, have decided to bring together their efforts to unify their offer in an attempt to meet market demands. The common denominator in this edition has been the importance given to environmental issues as is clear in many of the novelties that have been on display.

Particularly relevant amongst the projects presented, is “Life Wall”, a green façade developed for Ceracasa and made with Bionictile elements, a ceramic product that chemically decontaminates air, as Fran Raya has declared to Expeimentatv. Roca also strongly commit themselves to sustainability with “Top Green”, a porcelain collection with 80% pre consumed recycled material; they also introduce the “Broadway” collection for inside and outside use. Inelca presents “Feel Like Home”, with particular emphasis on their extra thin “Slimmker” tiles. The fair has also displayed the new Silestone bathroom line and Decorativa’s “Soho”, a new collection that offer different reliefs and textures. As in the past few editions, the “Trans-Hitos” ceramic tendencies exhibit, the “Ascer de Arquitectura e Interiorismo” (Architecture and Interior Design) prize, or the ceramic design and bathroom design international competitions, have managed once again to predict the new tendencies for this sector. It is also worth pointing out the “Alfa Oro” prize awarded to Vidres, Macer, Pamesa and Colores Cerámicos.
