Cuatro Cuatros, Ham&Cheese & La otra Cristina Serrano, Nude revelations
Three industrial design studios Cuatro Cuatros, Ham&Cheese and La otra Cristina Serrano, have recently been awarded the Nude Bancaja scholarship in an attempt to aid young designers to integrate into the world of habitat industrial design through training courses developed by Luzifer, Sancal and Aznar textile-Bondrap, respectively.
These scholarships are promoted by Obra Social de Bancaja, Social’ and are part of the Salón Nude, a young designers forum organized by Valencia's Feria Hábitat.

Cuatro Cuatros has developed the Signos collection, consisting of four lamp designs and a seating chair using the same material: Plywood with varying finishes; including the electrical wiring for the lamps. The different elements that compose each object are put together without metallic fittings or with the use of bridles.
Cuatro Cuatros is Isabel Cortina Sáez, Marina Francés Sáez, Adrián Martínez Almonacid and Cristina Ródenas Lechiguero, industrial designers from the Universidad Politécnica de Valencia.
Lamp Tag-it! and lighting cuddly toy Glob, by Ham&Cheese, 2010.
Ham&Cheese Cheese has designed Tag-it!, a table lamp that provides a paper roll to jot down any bright ideas that may occur during the night, and Glob, a felt cuddly toy for kids that are scared of the dark that works with a dimmer light.
Product and graphic designers Jordi Gisbert and Verónica Coloma claim to follow the ham and cheese sandwich philosophy. “A good combination of ideas can always make a product work”.

Finally, La otra Cristina Serrano has introduced Sofa Evenings, a collection of blankets with integrated foot slots. Made from 100% natural wool not containing SVHC, it explores the world of crafts in industrial production.
Industrial designer from the Universidad Politécnica de Valencia and the Politécnico di Milano, she began a solo career in 2009 to develop objects of everyday use, innovative in both use and personality.
