Manuel Estrada. The diaries of an acrobat. Where ideas are born

The Atlantic Centre for Modern Art in Palmas de Gran Canaria, has organized the exhibition ‘The diaries of an acrobat. Where ideas are born’ to highlight the work of Manuel Estrada as a graphic designer. The exhibit is focused on the material contained in 52 visual diaries and notebooks that allow the visitor to discover a lesser known facet of the designer. There are also almost two hundred graphic items, posters, logos and covers. The exhibition is commissioned by Gabriel Martínez and Sonia Díaz, and will shortly visit others cities.

Experimenta tv. Experimenta design magazine acompaña a José Maria Cruz Novillo, Premio Nacional de Diseño, en una ruta por Madrid para enseñarnos algunas de sus obras más emblemáticas.

Entre ellos, el proyecto del Diagrama Decáfonico realizado para el edificio del Instituto Nacional de Estadística (iNE), del arquitecto César Ruiz-Larrea; así como las esculturas de las identidades creadas para Repsol, Magisa o Portlan Valderrivas.

Walking Chair, You do Design, you!

Experimentatv, during the TDF Tenerife Design Festival 2009, has been media partner with the festival organizers. During the event we were able to talk to the people from Walking Chair Design Studio. Fidel Peugot and Karl Emilio Pircher are the founders of this studio based in the heart of Vienna, distinguished by the creativity and innovation of their proposal.Among their works within the areas of interiors, industrial and graphic design, stands out the design of several Lomo cameras, Wallpaper magazines typography and the creation of the first chair that walks.

Felipe Taborda, designer from Río de Janeiro. He defines himself as a man of incorrigible curiosity, and it is this insatiable appetite that incites him to work and enjoy life in equal parts. The Brazilian designer tackles the rich creative explosion that Latin America is currently living through as well as the special growth and energy of Brazil.
